I was standing in the front of the boat with my back to the sun, and still trying somewhat to fish when I saw the sky and I just held the camera over my shoulder and let it meter the shot. It took it at 1/60sec at f2.8.
The clouds were moving, but obviously at 1/60 of a second they appeared stationary. I added the motion blur.
If I had a tripod on solid ground, I would guess a 10ish second exposure with the properly accompanying aperture would have produced a similar effect.
Absolutely freaking stunning.
ReplyDeletewow. I second that.
ReplyDeleteThat looks the bollocks!
ReplyDeleteHow did you manage to keep the sky from washing out? Looks like you used a fairly slow shutter speed?
