I once saw an episode of "Fishing with Roland Martin" where Roland was invited to fish on Dubya's private ranch lake. As I recall, ol' Dubya's wildlife manager said it was good to pull out the small bass and keep 'em since they were trying to cultivate the larger bass over time. There is one scene where he gives one small bass to his dog (Barnie ?) which licks it. Actually, I think they let him lick just about every bass they caught. I don't know about y'all but I don't care much for bass lickers.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I would let my dog lick my bass. And if I did, I sure wouldn't tell anyone about it.
ReplyDeleteI kiss the bass before I release them but there is absolutely no tongue involved. it keeps me free of weird fish herpes. Dubya's dog is probably only licking the fish because he's having peanut butter bush balls withdrawals.
